Credit-Debit Specialist

Responsible for performing the daily functions required for the successful management of credit and debit card programs. Provide excellent member care through prompt, efficient, and accurate service in processing member transactions and information. Represent the credit union to members (in person, by phone or by written correspondence) in a courteous and professional manner.

FLSA: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Lending Manager
SUPERVISES: NONE
DEPARTMENT: Lending

Required Education and Experience 

  • High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3-4 years with credit and debit experience required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

  • Fluency in both English and Spanish with effective oral and written communication skills in both.
  • Strong interpersonal, customer relations skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of products and Credit Union services.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of credit/debit card regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail.
