Position Description:

The Mortgage Loan Counselor will be responsible for the sales and marketing of mortgage loan products, originating mortgage loan applications and developing referral sources for new mortgage loan business, counseling members on various loan products and developing and expanding relationships with internal and external referral sources such as realtors, attorneys, builders, title companies, developers, accountants and other sources in order to proactively solicit business and conduct sales-related activities. 80% of time will be spent away from Securityplus FCU offices meeting with members to obtain information for loan applications and counseling members with questions about the process.

Position Requirements:

Qualified candidate will have Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work related experience or two or more years' related experience and/or training. All candidates should have 2 years experience in mortgage lending and be familiar with conventional mortgages, FHA and VA loan products, concepts and documentation. Sales and/or customer service background preferred. Dependable Transportation is Required.
