Conduct inbound and outbound sales calls to generate new loan applications from prospective members. Present members with appropriate mortgage products and pricing based on their borrowing needs. Will assist the processing department in managing the member’s experience from origination to closing, ensuring a positive member service experience. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:

Sell multiple brands of company loan products to prospects, effectively converting them to borrowers.
Determine and communicate loan level pricing with members and management in order to maximize profitability.
Analyze underwriting guidelines to determine the documentation and lock/pricing requirements on loan level basis and negotiates terms. Draws up proposals, policies and contracts.

Requirements:

Bachelor in Finance preferred, equivalent job experience may be substituted plus minimum two (2) years real estate lending experience preferred. NMLS Maryland State Licensing required.

Must be Safe Act registered through NMLS or have at least one (1) year of mortgage related experience AND become Safe Act registered through NMLS upon hire.

Must be experienced in Conventional and FHA lending products/guidelines.
Previous employment that required interaction with clients via phone or direct contact.

Under direction and supervision of the COO, this position is responsible for carrying out the objectives of the Marketing Program for the Credit Union, with regards to maintaining and growing membership of existing and potential SEGs. This position also includes Front Desk Duties and Back Office projects. Team work is essential.
SEG Group Liaison
• Liaison with all existing SEGs, develop contacts with leaders and support staff to encourage maximum member saturation.
• Contact potential SEG organizations to initiate sponsor membership requests.
• Have a working knowledge of in-house computer protocols for opening new accounts and providing basic financial services to offsite CU locations.
• Submit suggestions of promotions, promotional items and services that could best serve our members and potential members.
• Assist with activities related to the membership and events centered in the local community.
• Contact new SEG groups, and conduct presentations to new and existing groups.
• Participate in SEG staff orientations and onboardings.
• Keep records of expenses related to mileage, give-a-ways and other promotional expenses.
• Present ideas for new services and improving existing services to the COO.
• Must be bi-lingual with a fluency (speak, read and write) in Spanish and English.

Teller and Customer Service (at least one day per week)
• Receive and keep up to date with yearly BSA training.
• Greet members and potential members courteously and professionally on the phone and in the office.
• Process member requests for but not limited to: account withdrawals, loans, deposits, transfers, inquiries, etc.
• Other Front Desk duties may include but not be limited to:
- Receive daily mail and process to appropriate destinations
- Process loan payments and payoffs.
- Assist new members to open new accounts.
- Prepare and balance deposits.
- Complete end of day balance sheet.
Back office Assistant (at least one day per week)
• Document scanning which will include: closed loan files, membership files and share draft files
• Assist CEO or COO with other projects as required.

Education/Experience:
