We are searching for an experienced and progressive Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

PAHO/WHO FCU is searching for an experienced and progressive Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This position is responsible for the effective oversight and management of the accounting and
finance department at PAHO/WHO FCU. The CFO must be a strategic leader who will lead all aspects of financial management, including accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, financial risk management, and budget. This role is responsible for accurate and timely completion of accounting functions while ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state and local
regulations pertaining to credit unions and financial institutions.


REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
. Minimum of 10 years management and leadership experience in finance and accounting required. At least 4 years of credit union experience preferred.
 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
. Demonstrated knowledge of accounting processes, compliance, NCUA rules and regulations and administration.
. Strong oral and written communication skills required with Spanish fluency highly preferred.
. Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts at all professional levels including top executives, Board of Directors, members, and staff. Ability to present in front of
  large groups of people.
. Excellent organizational, problem solving, and communication skills.
. Excellent leadership skills including the ability to coach and manage staff to ensure excellent performance.
. Must be detail oriented with strong analytical and planning skills.
. Must be able to exercise confidentiality and discretionary judgment
