This position, along with the IT/IS team will be responsible for the entire IT infrastructure.

This position, along with the IT/IS team will be responsible for the entire IT infrastructure.including VMware virtual infrastructure (ESXi, Horizon, View), physical servers, network hardware, Avaya phone system, all software running on this infrastructure, as well as researching and negotiating purchasing and maintenance of software, hardware, and services.

Major Duties Include:
• Collaborate with IT staff, all affected departments, and associated vendors.
• Complete software/hardware installations/upgrades as well as other assigned projects smoothly, successfully, and within deadlines
• Provide support for around sixty employees. This includes face-to-face, phone, and remote support for branches throughout the country
• Monitor the status of maintenance agreements, service contracts, etc. and ensure they do not lapse
• Cross train other members of the department to ensure the smooth operation of the business
• Review third party vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and IT audits
• Work with third party auditors to ensure the accuracy of their findings
• Report findings and action plan to management and technology committee
• Address findings appropriately through remediation, determination of an acceptable risk, etc.
• Collaborate in creating, reviewing, updating, and enforcing IT and cybersecurity policies
• Research new products and services to determine which would be the best fit for the organization
• Work extensively with Active Directory, Windows, Office, and other credit union software
• Administer antivirus software (ESET)
• Monitor and respond to issues in the server room
• Ensure network availability and performance while improving and maintaining its security posture
• Create and run reports using Excel, Crystal Reports, and the core system including SQL reports
• Exercise patience and understanding when fixing and explaining issues to employees
Requirements include:
• 2 years hands-on experience
• Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and techniques quickly
