Member Service Representative ll

Serves as liaison between the member and the Credit Union by providing exceptional efficient member service.

Conducts a variety of transaction services including account opening and assisting members daily needs by performing the following:

1. Represents the Credit Union in a courteous and professional manner by providing prompt, efficient and accurate service in the processing of transactions.
2. Provides in-person, online and telephone general and specific service-related information concerning Credit Union services or policies.
3. Responds to members’ requests, problems and concerns and/or directs them to the proper person for specific information and assistance.
4. Opens new IRA’s and Share Certificates Accounts and complies with applicable disclosures and documentation.
5. Assists with onboarding new members and account documentation and funding.
6. Handles requests from members for transfers of shares to loan payments, share withdrawals, check requests, line of credit advances and any other requests received from members.
7. Promotes Credit Union products and services based on member needs in order to generate leads to increase sales.
8. Protects the privacy of member information and operates in a safe and secure manner to protect First Eagle.
9. Assist branch manager in servicing ATM machine.
10. Issues debit cards.
11. Continually improves knowledge by attending classes, seminars and conferences.
12. Abides by First Eagle’s Service Standards and supports all Core Values.
13. Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software; internet software and database software.
