Operations Support Team Lead

With minimal supervision, supports and maintains the work-flow for Ops Support and Deposit Services, including all associated procedures for the teams’ processes to ensure deadlines are met.

 Accountable for reassigning work tasks as necessary. Consistently demonstrates exceptional member service skills.

In an efficient and professional manner, monitors and directs the incoming mail and requests received from members. Regularly communicates with their direct supervisor including, workflow strategies and process improvement ideas. Participates in and supports departmental projects and seasonal work as assigned.

Follows prescribed policies and procedures when making day-to-day decisions and complies with all Federal, State and internal regulations. Exercises an ability to meet Federal, State, and internal reporting deadlines. Proficiently provides a variety of monetary and non-monetary transactional services for members’ accounts on deposit, loan and insurance products. Opens, closes and performs maintenance on accounts including: deposit account charge offs, return deposit items (RDIs), check adjustments, paper check processing such as deposits, loan payments and IRA checks, issuing official checks, CD maintenance, IRA processing, and working reports to complete electronic payment processing and routine account maintenance. Ability to review transactions and requests and explain services and products to the member. Familiar with financial regulations including Reg CC, D, and E.

Provides support to team members as needed. Assist team members with questions and consistently exercises an ability to handle escalations; uses sound judgment when escalating concerns to their immediate supervisor. Train new and existing staff on the unit's processes and coordinates cross training to support department needs. Coaches staff and provides timely feedback to encourage growth and development. Provides input in annual review process. Ability to perform the functions of the Support Representative I, II, III and Senior within the support units.

Specific qualifications for the role include:
High School diploma required; Associates preferred.
3 to 5 years Financial Institution Required
3 to 5 years Operations Support Services and or Branch Required
1 year or more Credit Union systems Required
1 year or more Computer/PC Required
1 year or more Lead role Preferred
