With minimal supervision, efficiently guides members through the loan process and determines member’s creditworthiness based on credit union policies, practices and procedures.

With minimal supervision, efficiently guides members through the loan process and determines member’s creditworthiness based on credit union policies, practices and procedures. Conduct inbound and outbound sales calls to generate new loan applications from prospective members. Present members with appropriate mortgage products and pricing based on their borrowing needs. Will assist the processing department in managing the member’s experience from origination to closing, ensuring a positive member service experience. Will participate at home buyer’s workshops to promote homeownership.

Requirements:
Bachelor in Finance preferred, equivalent job experience may be substituted plus minimum two (2) years real estate lending experience preferred.
NMLS Maryland State Licensing required.
Must be Safe Act registered through NMLS or have at least one (1) year of mortgage-related experience AND become Safe Act registered through NMLS upon hire.
Must be experienced in Conventional and FHA lending products/guidelines.
Previous employment that required interaction with clients via phone or direct contact.
Must be a self-starter and self-motivated to meet job expectations and goals.
Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
Must be able to make decisive and accurate decisions.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Possess superior customer service skills.
Must be organized and responsible and able to use good judgment.
Ability to learn multiple technical application systems and programs.
Ability to use Microsoft Office suite effectively.
