Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing leadership to branches and lending as well as assist the CEO with overall strategic direction and leadership for the credit union. This person will be critical in leading SFCU to achieve the strategic initiatives of increasing sales, achieving service objectives, the expansion of existing business relationships and the development of new business. This position must also ensure operations are following regulatory, organizational and financial requirements. These responsibilities are done within all Credit Union policies and procedures as well as all applicable laws and regulations. All Securityplus employees are expected to be ambassadors of the Credit Union delivering excellent intradepartmental and member service, while promoting the Credit Union and cross-selling its products and services.

Duties and Essential Job Functions
Oversees Branch Operations, Loan Services, Mortgage, Collections, and Quality Assurance.
Develops, implements, and monitors branch office plans and incentive programs to meet Credit Union service and business plan goals. Monitors key products and sales within branch office operations to ensure profitability while providing high quality service for members.
Develops and implements control systems, methods, programs, and procedures to ensure that operations and lending managers are effectively managing all aspects of branch and back-office operations. Ensures that all operations managers have the skills to develop and maintain effective and efficient well-trained staff while maintaining effective employee relations.
Prepares, implements, and monitors departmental budgets to ensure consistency with the strategic plan and the business plan.
Ensures that all areas of operations are in compliance with applicable federal laws, state laws, and regulations set forth by the National Credit Union Administration and other regulatory agencies. Adheres to all Credit Union policies and procedures including, but not limited to: the Cash Management Manual, MSR Manual, Compliance Regulations, Ethics Policy, Bank Secrecy Act, Information Security Policy, etc.
Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with policies and laws. Related responsibilities include but are not limited to interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Supports business development activities as needed and, for new SEG acquisition, facilitates participation in new business development activities and opportunities as appropriate. Collaborates with other departments to create and promote programs to meet Credit Union service and business plan goals. Maintains current knowledge about competitor’s products and services, features and benefits.
Ensures that the loan portfolio maintains appropriate levels of risk in accordance with policy and regulatory standards. Approves or refers loan applications within authority limits. Serves as liaison with Loan Review Committee.
Oversees the development and recommendation of new and revised policies and procedures.
Responsible for oversight of collections efforts to control delinquency and to avoid losses.
Responsible for oversight of loan servicing to ensure loan and credit card records are in order and documentation is maintained as required.
Key member of the Business Continuity team.
Helps develop and enhance strategic direction of Credit Union. Leads special projects as needed. Seeks process improvements as well as evaluates new products. When beneficial, oversees implementation of new products.
Performs other duties as instructed or assigned by your Supervisor.
Responsible for compliance with rules and regulations including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act.

Related Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s degree a plus.

Should possess 10+ years or more experience managing in one or more areas of the following: branch operations, back-office member services, lending, loan servicing & collections. Minimum of 5 years or more experience in a Senior Management level position in one or more of the above areas preferred. Must have a proven track record of managing multiple areas simultaneously in the financial services industry. Must demonstrate proven success directing and expanding market share via Branch Operations, Member Services and Lending programs. Must possess knowledge of NCUA or banking regulations.

Computer experience
Proficiency with PC skills including word-processing, spreadsheet, electronic calendar, and e-mail. Experience on related financial institution customer service systems, or other closely related financial data input and retrieval systems/equipment required.
