Position Summary:
We’re seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to join our team who is passionate about providing the highest level of service to our members! As an ABM you will be part of a dynamic team focused on providing credit union members with an unparalleled service experience while proactively seeking opportunities to cross-sell products and services for the betterment of our members. You will also coach and mentor our Member Service Representatives because you have a passion for helping others succeed.

Responsibilities:
Contribute to the successful achievement of branch sales goals as set by the Principal Vice President, Business Development.
Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the branch in accordance with established policies & procedures while ensuring that quality service standards are maintained.
Perform all duties of a Member Service Representative as needed.
Act as Branch Manager in his/her absence.
Respond to questions and/or provide information upon request from members (internal & external).
Process requests/transactions as appropriate.
Assist members and potential members in understanding and utilizing Credit Union products and services.

Experience:
Six months to two years of similar or related experience.
A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school is a plus.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word

Interpersonal Skills:
Work normally involves contacts with persons beyond immediate associates generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors) requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.
Strong business development and/or sales skills.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and open cabinets.
This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary.
This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Office environment with job duties conducted via telephone, face to face meetings, and on the computer.
