Direct, administer, and coordinate the activities of the credit union in support of policies, goals, and objectives established by the President/EVP and the Board of Directors.

Primary Duties:
Direct, administer, and coordinate the activities of the credit union in support of policies, goals, and objectives established by the President/EVP and the Board of Directors. Guide and direct assigned personnel under the direction of executive management, assist in managing the daily operations of the credit union; assist in development, coordination and implementation of policies, procedures, new programs and directives. Responsible for maximizing the lobby employee productivity and effectiveness through leadership and coaching.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Hire, direct and supervise the branch management staff of the credit union on a day-to-day basis. Including scheduling work hours, performance evaluations, promotions, reassignment, and recommending to EVP for action.
2. Assign, direct, coordinate and review work of Branch Managers assuring all departments are adequately staffed and trained for full member service.
3. Responsible for organizing, maintaining, and initiating actions necessary to ensure adequate and efficient daily operations. Review management instructions and guidelines, interpret and implement.
4. Responsible for keeping all branch operational manuals up to date.
5. Review and certify accuracy of all reports necessary.
6. Serves as the Custodian of Records and is responsible for responding to court orders and subpoenas in a timely manner.
7. Assist all Branch Managers with ensuring the lobbies are always kept clean and up to date.
8. Hold periodic staff meetings. Identify areas for improvement, changes in procedures, new developments, or changes in services or products. Keep staff up to date on trends and general credit union information.
9. Address technical and operational questions or problems from credit union staff and make appropriate referrals, recommendations, suggestions, etc.
10. Address complex or problematic member questions or problems as appropriate and ensure the highest quality of member service and satisfaction.
11. Accountable for the daily branch/ATM cash operation and adhering to the cash limits set by the board of directors.
12. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with branch personnel & departments throughout the credit union.
13. Complete required and recommended educational courses; follow all rules and regulations as applicable to job function, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act.
14. Other duties as assigned by the CEO, EVP, or Board of Directors.

Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or any related field or equivalent work experience, required.
2. 5 years or more with proven management experience, preferred.
3. Knowledge of NCUA Rules and Regulations, CU Act, NAFCU, etc.
4. Knowledge of the laws and regulations governing credit unions
5. Ability to travel to all branch locations.
6. Ability to listen, identify problems and find solutions.
7. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
8. Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
9. Must be an assertive self-starter.

Physical Requirements:
1. Visual acuity. Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; extensive reading on a computer monitor.
2. Hearing. Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, either in person or on the phone.
3. Light work. Exerting up to 60 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
4. Body motions: Standing, walking lifting stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, crawling. Pushing and pulling.
5. Fingers and hands: Grasping, picking, pinching, typing, or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with whole hand or arm as in handling. Grasping: Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm. Making substantial repetitive movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
