Job Description:
This position performs the duties of the Receptionist, greeting visitors and answering the telephone, on a daily basis. Highlights from the job description include:
• Protects Credit Union assets by tracking, recording, and filing documents related to lien perfection.
• Administers Collateral and Debt Protection programs.
• Provides administrative and member service support to the Loan Department by performing clerical duties and assisting members.
• Performs a wide variety of administrative activities related to loan servicing.
• Complies with all applicable Credit Union policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Provides professional, prompt, and courteous service to members and Credit Union staff.
• Performs Receptionist and other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position, 35 hours per week. Workdays include a one hour unpaid lunch period.
Monday: 8:00am to 4:00pm
Tuesday: 8:00am to 4:00pm
Wednesday: 8:00am to 4:00pm
Thursday: 8:00am to 4:00pm OR 10:00am to 6:00pm
Friday: 8:00am to 4:00pm
Saturday (1-2 per month): 8:30 am – 12:30 pm

Please note the following about this work schedule:
Saturdays are worked at our Perry Hall location; additional Saturdays may be required from time to time to meet business demands.

Work Site:
All applicants must be willing and able to work at any of our locations (in Towson and Perry Hall) on an as needed basis.


Local travel to attend meetings or training may be required. Travel to other branch locations may also be required.

Job Requirements:
Education & Experience
• High School Diploma; and
• Administrative and/or customer service experience is required. Experience in a consumer or mortgage lending capacity is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
• Proficient use of personal computers, internet applications, e-mail, and various windows-based software applications including word processing.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with others; demonstrate courtesy, empathy, and politeness.
• Ability to meet member needs, build productive member relationships, and take responsibility for member satisfaction.

Licenses, Certificates, & Other Requirements:
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
• Must successfully pass criminal background check
• Must successfully pass credit check
