Highlights from the Job Description Include:
 
• Conduct ongoing needs assessment to identify areas requiring training and development 
• Design training programs on a variety of topics, including job specific training for member-facing positions, new employee orientation, product knowledge, and core system software
• Deliver training programs using a variety of instruction methods
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts to develop, improve and/or document work procedures
• Conduct ongoing evaluation of training programs to determine effectiveness
• Administer online learning platform
• Perform the duties of the Human Resources Specialist as necessary
 
Work Schedule:
Monday:             8:00am to 4:00pm
Tuesday:             8:00am to 4:00pm
Wednesday:    8:00am to 4:00pm
Thursday:            8:00am to 4:00pm 
Friday:            8:00am to 4:00pm 
Saturday: As needed
 
Please note the following about this work schedule:
Responsibilities may require an adjusted work schedule, working from an alternate Credit Union location, overtime, and/or evening and Saturday hours. The ability to travel between Credit Union locations is required. Employees may also be required to travel within the Baltimore/Washington Metropolitan area to attend meetings, training programs, or to conduct other business. 
 
Work Site:
Although the primary location for this position is in Towson, employees will also be required to work at other branch locations (including Perry Hall and GBMC) on an as needed basis.  As a result, they may be asked to travel between locations, where starting and ending times are slightly different than the schedule described above.

Job Requirements:
Education & Experience
• Diploma from a public or accredited private high school; or the possession of a high school equivalency diploma and
• One year experience in banking or financial services industry; or one year experience in education, corporate training, or a related field

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Proficient in a variety of presentation, course authoring, and web conferencing applications
• Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate in person and over the phone
• Proficient in the use of personal computers, internet applications, e-mail, and various windows-based software applications including word processing

Licenses, Certificates, & Other Requirements
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Must successfully pass criminal background check
• Must successfully pass credit check 
• Possession of a current, valid non-commercial (Class C) driver’s license
• Reliable transportation (must provide own transportation)
• Possession of auto insurance that meets minimum requirements in the state of MD
