While banks are trying to adapt this differentiator, the research shows meaningful differences in the perception of the financial wellbeing support banks and credit unions offer.

Credit unions’ strong member relationships give them a significant edge on statements like, "makes it easy for me to manage my finances," "has my best interests at heart," and "offers solutions to meet my financial needs."
