Paid Family Leave is coming to DC July 2020

To make sure your credit union is prepared, join us for an HR Roundtable on Thursday, January 16 with John Bredehoft from Kaufman & Canoles, P.C.

The District's Paid Leave Act provides up to:

• 8 weeks to bond with a new child
• 6 weeks to care for a family member with a serious health condition
• 2 weeks to care for your own serious health condition

All DC employers are required to post the employee notice in their worksites along with other labor law posters by February 1, 2020. The notice can be downloaded here.

Register here for the HR Roundtable on Thursday, January 16, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at our office in Columbia, MD. The agenda will also cover the Federal Family Medical Leave Act and compliance with the American with Disabilities Act.
