Prince George’s Community Federal Credit Union Awards Two $1000 Scholarships

The Board of Directors, management and staff of Prince George’s Community Federal Credit Union would like to congratulate the winners of the Stallings and Prestandrea Scholarship.

Members, Danielle Akinbobola and Taylor Hargraves each will receive $1,000 towards their pursuit of higher education. The Stallings and Prestandrea scholarship salutes the commitment and dedication of two Prince George’s Community Federal Credit Union pioneers, Virginia Stallings and Cindy Prestandrea. This year’s competition asked applicants to submit an essay outlining the “biggest financial issues facing millennials today.”

Ms. Akinbobola is a sophomore at Spelman College, majoring in Bio-Chemistry. Ms. Hargraves recently graduated from Bishop McNamara High School and will be attending Temple University this fall majoring in Communications & Media.
