As the Washington Nationals and Houston Astros prepare to face-off tonight, John Bratsakis, CEO of the MD|DC Credit Union Association, and Caroline Willard, CEO of the Cornerstone League, have placed a friendly wager on the outcome of the series.

The winner of the bet, along with the staff of both offices, will be treated to a tasty meal from the loser’s state. Along with putting their money where their mouth is, the loser will also replace their logo with the winning baseball team’s logo on their social media sites for 48 hours.

The Astros -- going for their second title in three years -- are heavily favored to win the World Series, but Bratsakis thinks Houston may have a problem. “I am confident that bragging rights will go to the Nationals, after all, baseball is the national pastime, and this is the National’s time!”
