Reid Temple AME Church Hosts Small Business Symposium

Representatives from NCUA, OCC, Department of Veterans Affairs and WSSC FCU were among the participants in a panel discussion on how credit unions can help small businesses and local economies grow and thrive.

NCUA Chairman Rodney E. Hood said partnerships across the public and private sectors, business and non-profits, and religious and community organizations are powerful levers for community development.

“The institutions we oversee have their fingers on the pulse of what works best in their communities,” said NCUA Chairman Rodney E. Hood. “So let’s give them the tools they need to do that.”

Reid Temple AME Church organized “Banking on Your Victory” and is part of WSSC FCU’s field of membership. Panelists included:
