It had been a while since the Baltimore Chapter had been able to meet in person for their annual meeting and the attendees enjoyed getting reacquainted with long-time colleagues and meeting new ones at Matthews 1600. They enjoyed a well-appointed buffet dinner and hosted their business meeting, including the appointment of two new board members. Association President/ CEO, John Bratsakis, welcomed everyone on behalf of the Association and thanked them for the opportunity to collaborate as a group.

Association Vice President of Member Engagement, Jordan Burroughs, greeted the Audience and warned them that, “although we want to acknowledge the contributions of all our Baltimore area CEOs, this is not going to be your typical rundown of their achievements and accomplishments. We’re going to learn some things about these leaders that may be surprising!”

Each CEO had been asked to submit a little-known fact about themselves and before each was called up to receive their Certificate of Recognition, Jordan would read the fact and the audience would try to guess the CEO. Although the audience nailed that MECU CEO, John Hamilton had traveled to 7 continents and was an avid baker, they did have trouble placing who the Harley riders, Jeep aficionados, piano players, ice skaters, scattershot golfers, and former curly-lock hairdo wearers were.

If you’re curious about who’s who, you’ll have to catch up with someone who attended the Chapter Meeting, or better yet, mark your calendar for the next Baltimore Chapter Meeting scheduled for September 13th!
